The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some 2003-2005 H2 Hummers equipped with the single stage compressor may have a Service Suspension Message with a Current or History DTC C0660.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Some vehicles that were equipped with a single compressor may have a software anomaly which can cause this concern. If you experience this concern and the vehicle is equipped with Electronic Control Unit (ECU) part number: 89038593, Replace the ECU with new part number: 89060585.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
