Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 862990 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the transmission fluid Auxiliary cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

    3. Object Number: 863001 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts from the auxiliary oil cooler.
  4. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler from the vehicle.

    5. Object Number: 863000 Size: SH
  5. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  6. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

    7. Object Number: 396804 Size: SH
  7. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  8. Remove the bolts from the transmission fluid cooler hose insulator.
  9. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose insulator from the transmission.
  10. Remove the cooling lines from the clips.
  11. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the transmission fluid cooler hoses to the transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Install the cooling lines to the clips.
  3. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose insulator to the transmission.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the bolts to the transmission fluid cooler hose insulator.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 17 N·m (12 lb ft).

  5. Lower the vehicle.

    6. Object Number: 863000 Size: SH
  6. Install the transmission fluid cooler hoses to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  7. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

    8. Object Number: 863001 Size: SH
  8. Install the auxiliary oil cooler to the vehicle.
  9. Install the bolts to the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 17 N·m (12 lb ft).

  10. Install the transmission fluid cooler hoses to the transmission fluid Auxiliary cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  11. Install the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
