When replacing the radiator support with part number 88979964 there may be some concerns with it fitting properly and it being too tall as shown below.

When installing a new radiator support, large C-Clamps must be used to properly seat/align the support as shown below.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
