Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 794678 Size: SH
  1. Remove the engine mount-to-frame bracket bolts.
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

    3. Object Number: 794711 Size: SH
  3. Remove the engine shield bolts.
  4. Remove the engine shield.
  5. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement .
  6. Remove the starter motor. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement .

    7. Important: DO NOT raise and/or support the engine by the crankshaft balancer, or oil pan.

  7. Raise and suitably support the engine using adjustable (screw type) jack stands.

  8. Remove the engine mount bolts (left side shown, right side similar).
  9. Remove the right engine mount.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Position the right engine mount to the engine (left side shown, right side similar).
  2. Install the engine mount bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the engine mount bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Lower the engine.
  4. Remove the adjustable jack stands.
  5. Install the starter motor. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement .
  6. Install the A/C compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 794711 Size: SH
  7. Position the engine shield to the vehicle.
  8. Install the engine shield bolts.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the engine shield bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  9. Lower the vehicle.

    10. Object Number: 794678 Size: SH
  10. Install the engine mount-to-frame bracket bolts.

    11. Tighten
    Tighten the engine mount-to-frame bracket bolts to 65 N·m (48 lb ft).
