Condition
Some customers may comment on a rattle behind the rear seat.
Cause
The welds on the right or left hand rear window run channel may have come loose.
Correction
- Lower the rear seats.
- Lower the rear window.
- Partially remove the "C" pillar trim.
Refer to the illustration above.
- Remove the window trim by pulling the trim forward
and then to the center of the vehicle. Refer to the illustration above.
- Protect the interior.
- Grind the paint off in the three locations shown.
Refer to the illustration above.
- Apply three MIG welds to the arrows in step 6. Refer to the illustration
above.
- Refinish per GM 4901MD-2005 approved Refinish Materials. This information

- Reinstall trim.
