The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
SERVICE VME
All H2's built prior to November 2004 have a non-express open sun roof. The express open feature was added to all H2's built after November 1st. There is a releasing error of the sun roof motors in the SPO parts catalog. Should you need a motor for a non-express open sun roof, order P/N 88944363. The part number for the express open feature is 88980804. The parts catalog is currently being revised.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
