The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
SERVICE VME
A condition exists on a small number of early built 2006 H2's where a customer may not be able to install the locking pin on the front hitch receiver due to misalignment with the holes in the bumper. Should you encounter this, request a special service part through our Warranty Parts Return Center using the attached form. The WPC part number, 344 is preprinted and order instructions are included on the form. After replacing the hitch receiver, if there is still difficulty in inserting the locking pin, the hole in the bumper can be enlarged to a maximum of 35 mm and this completely resolve the issue.
