Makes 🢒 HUMMER 🢒 2008 🢒 H2 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, or 7.0L 🢒 Engine Oil Level Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 662991 Size: SH
  1. Drain the engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the oil level sensor electrical connector (6).

    3. Object Number: 260123 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil level sensor from the oil pan.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 260123 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil level sensor to the oil pan.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the oil level sensor to 13 N·m (115 lb in).

  2. Connect the oil level sensor electrical connector (6).
  3. Fill the engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
