Notice: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module.

Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the I/P Insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement .
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temp actuator.

Tighten
1.6 N·m (14 lb in)

Re-calibrate the air temp actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration .
