Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat number 2 from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
2. Place the rear load floor latch in the locked position in order to be able to release the seat back latch.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

6 N·m (53 lb in)

55 N·m (41 lb ft)

Rear Seat Number 2 Seat Belt Escutcheon

Procedure

Unsnap the escutcheon from the seat back cover.

Rear Seat Number 2 Seat Back Cover Assembly

Procedure

1. Release the J channel retainers along the bottom of the seat back cover.
2. Work the cover upward over the top of the seat back.
3. Feed the seat belt webbing and the escutcheon through the opening in the seat back cover.

Rear Seat Number 2 Seat Back Pad Assembly

Procedure

Carefully remove the foam pad from the seat back frame.
