Inflator Air Switch LED Indicator Signal | B0941 02 | 1 | 2 | 1 |
1. Inflator Air Switch LED Indicator Inoperative 2. Inflator Air Switch LED Indicator Always ON |
The air suspension control module (ASCM) monitors the inflator air switch light emitting doide (LED) indicator signal of the inflator switch located in the rear of the vehicle for a short to ground.
• | Battery voltage is between 9-16 volts. |
• | The ignition is ON or OFF. |
The air suspension control module senses ride height switch inflator switch signal LED circuit voltage shorted to ground.
• | The air suspension system will be inoperative. |
• | No message is displayed. |
The DTC will clear when the condition for setting the DTC is removed.

Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Inflator Switch parameter while pressing/depressing the inflator switch. The inflator switch parameter should change between Pressed/Released and Released/Pressed.
⇒ | If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal and the B+ circuit fuse is open, test the signal circuit for a short to ground. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, test or replace the ASCM. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the signal circuit for short to ground or open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ASCM. |
⇒ | If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ASCM. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, replace the inflator air switch. |
⇒ | If greater than the specified range, replace the inflator air switch. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, replace the inflator air switch. |
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
