Preliminary Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
2. Disconnect the positive battery terminal. Refer to Battery Positive Cable Replacement

Bolt, Battery Retencion

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Tip
Only remove the battery insulator when replaceing the battery.
