Makes 🢒 HUMMER 🢒 2009 🢒 H2 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, or 7.0L 🢒 Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2040662 Size: SH
  1. Lift upward on the front of the sight shield (1), then remove the sight shield from the sight shield retainer (2).

    2. Object Number: 2040665 Size: SH
  2. Remove the sight shield retainer bolts (1) and the retainer (2), if required.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the sight shield retainer (2) and the bolts (1), if required.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the retainer bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  2. Install the intake manifold sight shield to the retainer (2), then push downward on the front of the sight shield (1) to lock in place.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
