Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 260117 Size: SH
  1. Drain the engine oil.
  2. Remove the oil filter.

    3. Object Number: 490699 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil filter adapter (1).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 490699 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil filter adapter (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the oil filter adapter to 55 N·m (40 lb ft).

  2. Install the oil filter.
  3. Refill the engine oil. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities and/or Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations.
