Caution: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module.

Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the Inflatable Restraint I/P Module. Refer to Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temp actuator.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
1.6 N·m (14 lb in)
