Important: Follow the steps below to avoid personal injury or damage to the air suspension components any time any of the air suspension components are removed or replaced.

  1. While the vehicle is raised on a hoist, ensure that the lower end of the air springs are completely engaged in the spring supports on the axle housing.
  2. Lower the vehicle but do not allow the vehicles tires to contact the ground.
  3. Start the engine.
  4. Install a scan tool.
  5. Select Chassis.
  6. Select Air Suspension Control Module.
  7. Select Special Functions.
  8. Select Depressurize System.
  9. Press the ON soft key to allow the air springs to deflate until the suspension is at rest on the jounce bumpers.
