Removal Procedure
  1. Lower the midgate window to the full open/down position.
  2. Open the midgate.

    3. Object Number: 1486515 Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws retaining the midgate latch striker to the body.
  4. Remove the midgate latch striker and shim (if equipped) from the pillar.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1486515 Size: SH
  1. Install the midgate latch striker and shim, if equipped, to the pillar.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the screws retaining the striker to the pillar.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws retaining the midgate latch striker to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Close the midgate.
  4. Verify midgate latch operation.
  5. Close the window.
