Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the carrier assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement.
2. Prior to removal of the instrument panel carrier support assembly, note the location of the instrument panel electrical centers and junction blocks.
3. Disconnect all instrument panel electrical centers and junction blocks from the instrument panel carrier support assembly and position out of the way.
4. Prior to removal of the instrument panel carrier support assembly, note the routing of the instrument panel wiring harness and connector locations to ensure proper reinstallation.
5. Disconnect the instrument panel wiring harness from the instrument panel carrier support assembly and position out of the way.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)

Instrument Panel Carrier Support Lower Bolt (Qty: 1)

Tighten
22 N·m (16 lb ft)

Instrument Panel Carrier Support Outer Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tighten
58 N·m (43 lb ft)
