Preliminary Procedure Remove the right side instrument panel side trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement. Remove the instrument panel compartment door assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement. Remove the right instrument panel lower filler. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Filler Replacement - Right Side.
1	Instrument Panel Compartment Door Opening Frame Screw (Qty: 5) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 2.5 N·m (22 lb in)
2	Instrument Panel Compartment Door Opening Frame Assembly Procedure Disconnect the electrical connections. When replacing the instrument panel compartment opening frame assembly, transfer all necessary components.

Remove the right side instrument panel side trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Side Trim Panel Replacement.
Remove the instrument panel compartment door assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement.
Remove the right instrument panel lower filler. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Filler Replacement - Right Side.

Instrument Panel Compartment Door Opening Frame Screw (Qty: 5)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

Instrument Panel Compartment Door Opening Frame Assembly

Disconnect the electrical connections.
When replacing the instrument panel compartment opening frame assembly, transfer all necessary components.
