Makes 🢒 HUMMER 🢒 2009 🢒 H2 🢒 Body Repair 🢒 Bolted Exterior Body Panels and Closures 🢒 Midgate Window Regulator Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement.
  3. Remove the nuts retaining the window regulator to the midgate.
  4. Slide the window regulator assembly to one side of the structure.

    5. Object Number: 1477813 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the midgate window regulator electrical connector.
  6. Remove the regulator from the midgate. A slight twisting motion is required for removal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 986408 Size: SH
  1. Install the window regulator to the midgate.
  2. Connect the window regulator electrical connector.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1477813 Size: SH
  3. Install the nuts retaining the window regulator to the midgate.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the window regulator nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Install the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement.
  5. Inspect and adjust the midgate window alignment to the weatherstrip channel. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement.
  6. Install the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement.
