Makes 🢒 HUMMER 🢒 2009 🢒 H2 🢒 Body Repair 🢒 Bolted Exterior Body Panels and Closures 🢒 Front Fender Extension Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Open the front door on the side of the vehicle where the fender extension is being serviced.
  3. Remove the fender flare. Refer to Front Wheel Opening Flare Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 861166 Size: SH
  4. Through the door jamb, remove the fasteners (1) retaining the rear of the fender extension to the vehicle.
  5. Remove the fasteners (2) retaining the side of the fender extension to the vehicle.
  6. Through the wheelhouse, remove the fastener retaining the bottom of the fender extension to the vehicle.
  7. Remove the fender extension (4) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 861166 Size: SH
  1. Align the fender extension (4) to the vehicle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fasteners (2) retaining the side of the fender extension to the vehicle.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the fasteners (1) retaining the rear of the fender extension to the vehicle.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 14 N·m (124 lb in).

  4. Install the fender flare. Refer to Front Wheel Opening Flare Replacement.
  5. Install the fastener (3) retaining the bottom of the fender extension to the vehicle.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  6. Close the door.
  7. Close the hood.
