Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the sunroof finishing lace. Refer to Sunroof Opening Trim Finish Lace Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 832111 Size: SH
  2. It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only do those steps in headliner replacement that will lower the headlinder enough to gain access to the part. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove the sunroof motor. Refer to Power Sunroof Motor Replacement.
  4. Remove the sunroof sunshade. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement.
  5. Remove the sunroof glass panel. Refer to Sunroof Glass Panel Replacement.
  6. Disconnect the front drain hoses from the sunroof module. Refer to Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement.
  7. Disconnect the rear drain hoses from the sunroof module. Refer to Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement.
  8. Remove the retaining nuts from the sunroof module rear brackets.
  9. Remove the retaining bolts from the sunroof module.
  10. With the aid of an assistant, remove the sunroof module assembly from the vehicle.
  11. Remove the rear brackets from the sunroof module.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the rear brackets to the sunroof module.

    2. Object Number: 832111 Size: SH
  2. Install the sunroof module assembly to the vehicle.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the retaining bolts to the sunroof module.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the retaining nuts to the sunroof module rear brackets.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the rear drain hoses. Refer to Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement.
  6. Install the front drain hoses. Refer to Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement
  7. Install the sunroof motor. Refer to Power Sunroof Motor Replacement.
  8. Synchronize the sunroof motor and module assembly. Refer to Sunroof Track Timing/Synchronization.
  9. Install the sunroof glass panel. Refer to Sunroof Glass Panel Replacement.
  10. Install the sunroof sunshade. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement.
  11. Verify proper operation of the sunroof.
  12. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.
  13. Install the sunroof finishing lace. Refer to Sunroof Opening Trim Finish Lace Replacement.
