Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat front riser finish cover. Refer to Rear Seat Front Riser Finish Cover Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear seat back cushion filler panel. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Filler Panel Replacement.

Rear Seat Assembly Fastener (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
55 N·m (41b ft)

Rear Seat Assembly

Tip

    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • With the help of an assistant, remove the seat from the vehicle.

Rear Seat Replacement without AL4

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 660330 Size: SH
  1. Fold the seat forward.
  2. Grab the seat back cushion filler panels and pull up to release the clips.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors, if equipped.
  4. Remove the 3 covers that cover the nuts on the front of the seat frame.
  5. Remove the seat retaining nuts.
  6. Fold the seat cushions back to the closed position.

  7. With the help of an assistant, remove the seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 833553 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat into the vehicle.
  2. Fold the seat cushions forward.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the seat retaining nuts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  4. Install the 3 covers that cover the nuts on the front of the seat frame.
  5. Connect the electrical connectors, if equipped.

    6. Object Number: 660330 Size: SH
  6. Install the rear seat cushion filler panels by pushing downward to fully engage the clips.
  7. Fold the seat cushion back to the closed position.
