Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear seat armrest. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement.
- Remove the rear seat shoulder belt opening cover screw (1).
- Remove the rear seat shoulder belt opening cover.
- Remove the rear shoulder belt guide bolt (3).
- Remove the guide (4) from the seat belt assembly.
- Release the remaining J-channel from around the center armrest opening.
- Remove the nut (1) from the seat belt retractor.
- Fold the 40 percent seat cushion and back assembly forward.
- Remove the nut (1) from the seat belt anchor.
- Slide the seat belt and anchor through the shoulder belt opening cover to remove.
- Remove the seat belt retractor through the armrest opening, and slide the seat belt assembly (1) through the shoulder belt opening and out through the armrest opening.
Installation Procedure
- Install the retractor assembly by sliding the anchor and belt assembly (1) through the armrest opening and up through the shoulder belt opening.
- Slide the seat belt and anchor through the shoulder belt opening cover.
- Install the nut (1) to the seat belt retractor. Tighten the nut to 52 N·m (38 lb ft).
- Install the nut to the seat belt anchor. Tighten the nut to 52 N·m (38 lb ft).
- Install the rear shoulder belt guide (4) to the belt assembly.
- Install the rear shoulder belt guide (4) to the seat back.
- Install the bolt (3) to the rear shoulder belt guide. Tighten the bolt to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).
- Install the rear seat shoulder belt opening cover (1).
- Install the rear seat shoulder belt opening cover screw (1). Tighten the bolt to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the rear seat armrest. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement.
