For 1990-2009 cars only
- Loosen the fuel filler cap in order to relieve the fuel tank vapor pressure.
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
- Loosen the fuel fill hose clamp.
- Disconnect the fuel fill hose from the fuel fill pipe.
- Use a hand or air operated pump device in order to drain as much fuel through the fuel fill hose as possible.
