A large number of instrument clusters from the HUMMER H3 (26 to be exact) have been returned through the Warranty Parts Center for the customer complaint of "Low Tire Pressure Warning Light On". All of these clusters were found to be trouble-free.
The most common cause for a light is marginally low air in cold temperatures. Tire pressures must be adjusted when cold. In addition, refer to the information in the following documents:
The instrument cluster simply receives a signal and displays a message. I/P clusters should not be changed for a "Low Tire Pressure Warning Indicator."
