Admin Message - 2006 HUMMER H3 Ignition Cylinder Replacement

Should you have a customer report that they are unable to get the ignition key out of the ignition switch, experiencing difficulty insertng or removing the key or experiencing difficulty cycling the key in the ignition, you are asked to replace the entire ignition switch, lock cylinder and key. Return the entire assembly with the key intact to the Warranty Parts Center immediately upon receipt of the request so that we can complete an investigation which is already underway on this issue. Order an extra key with the replacement parts and recode both as necessary so that we assure the customer has two identical key configurations.
