Info - Availability of New H3 Back Body Opening (D Pillar) Plug for Service Replacement of Loose/Missing Plug

A new back body opening ("D" pillar) plug is available as a service replacement on vehicles where this plug is loose or missing.

The plastic plug (1), located on the inside lower left tailgate area, may be loose or is missing because of inadequate retention.

When a new body plug is installed, inspect the plug hole for sealer around the edges. Remove the sealer if present. Replace the body plug with P/N 15855927.
