The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may report on an OnStar blue button press they connect to the call center as a voice only call.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Follow the below list path and retest
Diagnostics> 2006> LD Trk, MPV, Incomplete> Hummer> H3> Body and Accessories> Cellular Communication> Module Set-up> Vehicle comm. Interface Module> VCIM Set up.
Important Note: Insure the Tech2 and ignition switch are cycled off and the vehicles retained accessory power is canceled before attempting a retest. If the vehicle still connect as a voice only call refer to PIC4310 and contact GM Technical Assistance for further assistance.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
