Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip
The nut should be tight enough to keep the hook from rattling against the bumper and loose enough to be moveable by hand.

Tighten
50 N·m (37 lb ft) minus approximately 180 degrees

Tip
It may be necessary to remove the impact bar assembly to access additional bolts for the tow hook bracket. Refer to Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement .

Tighten
100 N·m (74 lb ft)
