Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
2. Remove the seat cushion trim cover and pad. Refer to Seat Cushion Trim Cover and Pad Replacement .

Seat Cushion Frame Nut

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip
The nuts only need to be loosened enough so that the seat frame and seat adjuster can be separated enough to remove the recliner cable.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Tip
Remove the cable end from the seat recliner by removing the ball through the round opening.
