Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1897141 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

    3. Object Number: 1899698 Size: SH
  3. Loosen the integral air cleaner housing bolts (2).
  4. Remove the air cleaner housing (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1899698 Size: SH
  1. Install the air cleaner housing (1) to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Tighten the integral air cleaner housing bolts (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAF/IAT sensor.
  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement.
