Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the rear bumper step pad. Refer to Rear Bumper Step Pad Replacement .
2. Remove the rearview camera. Refer to Rearview Camera Replacement .

Rear Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
40 N·m (30 lb ft)

Front Tow Hook Bracket Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten
100 N·m (74 lb ft)

Rear Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tighten
40 N·m (30 lb ft)

Tip
Be sure to disconnect any electrical connectors before attempting to remove the rear bumper impact bar.
