Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

    2. Object Number: 1906208 Size: SH
  2. Remove the nut (1) and bolt (2) securing the front and rear catalytic converter guard together.

    3. Object Number: 1906207 Size: SH
  3. Remove the nut (2), bolt (3), and spacer (1) securing the front catalytic converter guard to the transmission support.

    4. Object Number: 1906203 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts (1) and spacer securing the engine shield to the crossmember.

    5. Object Number: 1906205 Size: SH
  5. Remove the bolt (1) securing the front and rear catalytic converter guard to the transmission support.

    6. Object Number: 1906201 Size: SH
  6. Remove the front catalytic converter guard from the vehicle.

    7. Object Number: 1906199 Size: SH
  7. Remove the bolt (1) securing the rear catalytic converter guard to the transmission support.

    8. Object Number: 1906197 Size: SH
  8. Remove the bolts (1) securing the rear catalytic converter guard to the frame crossmember.

    9. Object Number: 1906191 Size: SH
  9. Remove the rear catalytic converter guard from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1906191 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear catalytic converter guard to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1906197 Size: SH
  2. Install the bolts (1) securing the rear catalytic converter guard to the frame crossmember.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1906199 Size: SH
  3. Install the bolt (1) securing the rear catalytic converter guard to the transmission support.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1906201 Size: SH
  4. Install the front catalytic converter guard to the vehicle.

    5. Object Number: 1906205 Size: SH
  5. Install the bolt (1) securing the front and rear catalytic converter guard to the transmission support.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1906203 Size: SH
  6. Install the bolts (1) and spacer securing the engine shield to the crossmember.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1906207 Size: SH
  7. Install the spacer (1), bolt (3), and nut (2) securing the front catalytic converter guard to the transmission support.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1906208 Size: SH
  8. Install the bolt (2) and nut (1) securing the front and rear catalytic converter guard together.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  9. Lower the vehicle.
