  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.
  4. Remove the passenger side front wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement

A/C Compressor Tube Assembly Bolt

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Procedure

Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement.

Tighten
16 N·m (12 ft lb)

A/C Compressor Tube Assembly Nut

Procedure

Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement.

Tighten
16 N·m (12 ft lb)

Tip
Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement .

Sealing Washer

Tip

    • Remove and discard the sealing washer. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement .
    •  Cap the A/C systems openings.
