Rear Side Door Lock Striker Adjustment for HUMMER H3 2008

Notice: Striker alignment is a crucial part of door latch operation. Do not use the door striker to adjust the door to the vehicle. Failure to properly adjust the striker can result in damage to the door latch and the striker.


    Object Number: 1938521 Size: MH
  1. Loosen the striker bolts (1) until the striker (2) is movable.
  2. Pull on the outside handle.
  3. Gently push the door against the body in order to ensure that the striker (2) allows a flush fit.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Slowly open the door.
  5. Tighten the bolts (1).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the striker bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  6. Touch up any exposed or unpainted surface on the lock pillar.
