Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1560064 Size: SH
  1. Remove the knee bolster bracket. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the body wiring harness electrical connector from the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor.

    3. Object Number: 1560065 Size: SH
  3. Remove the accelerator pedal/APP sensor nuts.
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal/APP sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1560065 Size: SH
  1. Install the accelerator pedal/APP sensor over the studs.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the accelerator pedal/APP sensor nuts and tighten to 9 N·m(80 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1352013 Size: SH
  3. Connect the body wiring harness electrical connector to the APP sensor.
  4. Inspect below the pedal for binding, to ensure full range of motion.
  5. Install the knee bolster bracket. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement.
