Exhaust Muffler Rear Pipe Replacement Pickup

Warning: Refer to Exhaust Service Warning in the Preface section. Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle. Note: On lift the pickup box enough to gain clearance to remove the pipe. Raise and support the pickup box, off the chassis. Refer to Pickup Box Replacement.
1	Exhaust Nuts Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 45 N·m (33 lb ft)
2	Exhaust Muffler Rear Pipe Procedure Disengage the Exhaust insulator from the pipe.

Note: On lift the pickup box enough to gain clearance to remove the pipe.

Raise and support the pickup box, off the chassis. Refer to Pickup Box Replacement.

Exhaust Nuts

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
45 N·m (33 lb ft)

Exhaust Muffler Rear Pipe

Disengage the Exhaust insulator from the pipe.
