Preliminary Procedure Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
1	Tie Rod Jam Nut Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten Tighten the jam nut to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).
2	Tie Rod Tip Rotate the tie rod to the required specification setting. Refer to Wheel Alignment Specifications.

Tighten
Tighten the jam nut to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).
