Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.

Rear Side Door Lock Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
After the water deflector is removed, location the bolt number one .

Tighten
7 N·m (62 lb in)

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Disconnect the handle rod, remove the lock from the door.
