Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

Brake Pipe Fitting (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Cap the brake pipe to prevent fluid loss and contamination.

Tighten
19 N·m (14 lb ft)

Procedure

After the installation is complete, bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding.
