1	Shift Lever Assembly Procedure Release the tabs to remove the shiftier boot. Lift boot up to access the shift lever fastener.
2	Shift Lever Assembly Fastener Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Procedure Apply threadlock GM P/N 1234593 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to the shift lever set screw threads before reinstalling. Tighten 25 N·m(18 lb ft)
