Clips, Integral (Qty: 2)

Tip
Pull applique inside edge outward in order to release clips.

Retainers, Integral (Qty: 2)

Tip
Pull applique outward in order to release retainers.

Applique, Quarter Panel Upper

Preliminary Procedure

1. Open the rear door on the side the upper applique is to be serviced.
2. Remove the four screws securing the upper applique to the side door frame.

Quarter Panel Upper Applique Screw (Qty: 4)

Tip
Disengage the rear portion of the weather-strip from the applique in order to access the applique screws.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
Hand tighten the screws.

Integral W-clip (Qty: 6)

Procedure

1. Using a suitable trim release tool, carefully pull the outside edge of the reveal molding outward in order to access the w-clips.
2. Release the w-clips beginning at the bottom and working upward.
3. Leave the applique loose until the top moldings are separated.

Quarter Panel Upper Applique

Tip
Lift and disengage the top edge of the upper applique from the snap feature on the rear edge of the luggage carrier molding assembly.
