Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the body side upper trim. Refer to Body Side Upper Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear door sill trim plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement.
  3. Fold the rear seat flat to the stowed position.
  4. Open the midgate and fold it flat to the stowed position.

Procedure

Grasp the molding assembly and pull it outward disengaging the clips securing it to the body.
