Caution: Do NOT pull or pry on the shift boot. This action may damage the shift boot retainers.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Open the console compartment door.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Place the shift lever in NEUTRAL position.

Tighten
4 N·m (35 lb in)
