Driver Seat Belt Warning
Caution: To help avoid personal injury from unrepaired crash damage to a restraint system, perform the seat belt check for each seat belt system. Replace the seat belt system if there is any doubt about the condition of system components.
The seat belt reminder system is a system alerting with sound and light when the seat belt is unbelted.
The severity of warning level depends on the vehicle status and is signalized for driver with a seat belt warning lamp and sound.
On all except North America Vehicles, once the ignition turns ON, the seat belt warning lamp will turn ON for 5 seconds and turn OFF for 2 seconds regardless of seat belt wearing. After this if the seat belt is unbelted, the warning lamp will flash for 90 seconds and then illuminate until the seat belt is belted. At this time if the seat belt is belted, the warning lamp will turn OFF at once.
The seat belt reminder after this will follow the below process according to vehicle status.

Three-Point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) Front Seat Belt
The 3-point emergency locking retractor (ELR) seat belt is always unlocked, allowing the passenger freedom of movement, except in emergencies, such as rapid deceleration, rapid acceleration, or hard cornering maneuvers.

The 3-point emergency locking retractor (ELR) seat belt is always unlocked, allowing the passenger freedom of movement, except in emergencies, such as rapid deceleration, rapid acceleration, or hard cornering maneuvers.
Three-Point Child Lock Retractor (CLR) Rear Seat Belt (North America)
Three-point chold lock retractor (CLR) seat belts are standard for the rear seat center outboard passenger positions. The CLR seat belt has 2 operation modes. Normally, the seat belt operates in the emergency locking retractor (ELR) mode, which allows the passenger freedom of movement, except in emergency situations. However, when the belt is fully extended and released, the seat belt operates in the auto-locking (ALR) mode. The ALR mode does not allow movement and is designed to hold a child seat firmly to the seat.
Two-Point Lap Rear Center Seat Belt (Except North America)
The 2-point lap rear center seat belt is a single continuous length of webbing. The webbing is routed from the anchor through a latch plate and into a single retractor.
Child Seat Tether Anchor
There are 3 child seat tether anchors located on the rear deck lid sill plate. There is one anchor for each rear seat position. There are 3 provision holes on the rear compartment trim panel.
