Removal Procedure

    Important: Left - Hand Drive Shown, Right - Hand Drive Similar.


    Object Number: 1794991 Size: SH
  1. Remove the hood prime latch release handle. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement .
  2. Remove the screw and the instrument panel lower left trim.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1794991 Size: SH
  1. Install the instrument panel lower left trim.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the instrument panel steering column opening pillar screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  2. Install the hood prime latch release handle. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement .
