Sunroof Switch Replacement C 100/Long Body

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Pry off the map lamp lens by inserting a taped flat-bladed tool into the recess along the edge of the lens.
3. Remove the screws and the map lamp housing from the headliner.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Remove the power sunroof control switch.

1. Install the replacement bulb.
2. Connect the electrical connector.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

3. Install the map lamp housing to the headliner with the screws.

Tighten
Tighten the map lamp housing screw 2 N·m (18 lb in).

4. Press the map lamp lens onto the housing.
5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

Sunroof Switch Replacement C 105/Short Body

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Pry off the map lamp lens by inserting a taped flat-bladed tool into the recess along the edge of the lens.
3. Remove the screws and the map lamp housing from the headliner.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Remove the power sunroof control switch.

1. Install the power sunroof control switch.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the map lamp housing to the headliner with the screws.

Tighten
Tighten the map lamp housing screw 2 N·m (18 lb in).

4. Press the map lamp lens onto the housing.
5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
