Headlamp Leveling Switch Replacement C 100/Long Body

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

    2. Object Number: 1795032 Size: SH
  2. Remove the instrument cluster steering column opening pillar.
  3. Remove the screw and the headlamp leveling switch.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1795032 Size: SH
  1. Replace the appropriate switch.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the headlamp leveling switch with the screw.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the headlamp leveling switch screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the instrument cluster steering column opening pillar.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

Headlamp Leveling Switch Replacement C 105/Short Body

Removal Procedure

    Important: Left - Hand Drive Shown, Right - Hand Drive Similar.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

    2. Object Number: 1829768 Size: SH
  2. Remove the instrument cluster steering column opening pillar.
  3. Remove the screw and the headlamp leveling switch.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1829768 Size: SH
  1. Replace the appropriate switch.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the headlamp leveling switch with the screw.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the headlamp leveling switch screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the instrument cluster steering column opening pillar.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
