Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1997272 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement .
  2. Remove the screws and the instrument panel passenger molding.
  3. Using a flat-bladed tool,remove the instrument panel passenger vent.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1997272 Size: SH
  1. Press the instrument panel passenger vent into the housing.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the Install the instrument panel passenger molding with the screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the instrument panel molding screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement.
